Throughout the first quarter of 2023, the top five educational games on the Android platform in Kenya exhibited varying trends in weekly downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these apps:

Kids Songs - Offline Songs by Taman Edukasi saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting at 2.3K in late December 2022 and peaking at 3.8K in mid-March. The app's weekly active users followed a similar upward trend, beginning at 5.4K and reaching 6.7K by mid-March before slightly dropping to 5.9K by the end of the quarter.

Masha and the Bear Educational from DTC Lab experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, with numbers ranging from 1.9K to 2.7K. The app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at 13.2K and peaking at 14.9K in mid-January before settling at around 13.3K by the end of March.

Little Panda: Princess Salon, published by BabyBus, showed a decline in weekly downloads, starting from 2.3K in late December and dropping to around 1.2K by the end of March. Correspondingly, the app's weekly active users also decreased from 3.6K to 3.1K over the same period.

Baby Panda's School Bus, another offering from BabyBus, had a consistent performance in weekly downloads, ranging from 1.1K to 1.8K. Its weekly active users exhibited minor fluctuations, starting at 2.9K and ending the quarter at 2.4K.

Math Kids: Math Games For Kids by RV AppStudios saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, beginning at 1.4K and peaking at 1.7K in mid-March. The app’s weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, starting at 2.6K and reaching 3K by mid-March, ending the quarter at approximately 2.9K.
